Will the output preserve my PDF's exact layout?

It extracts and reflows text into an editable document rather than pixel-matching the original layout — great for editing the content, but complex multi-column layouts or precise positioning won't be reproduced exactly.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

Only if the PDF already has selectable text. A scanned page that's just an image with no text layer has nothing to extract — this tool doesn't perform OCR.

What happens with images and tables in the PDF?

Text content is the primary focus of the conversion; complex tables and embedded images may not carry over with full formatting fidelity.
