Frequently asked questions
How does it decide what goes in which cell?
It analyzes the position of text on each page to detect rows and columns, splitting text into separate cells where there's a clear gap. It works best on PDFs that already contain clean, well-aligned tabular data.
Will complex or merged-cell tables come through perfectly?
Simple tables map well. Merged cells, nested tables, or unusually irregular layouts may not reconstruct exactly — you may need to tidy up the result in Excel afterward.
Does each PDF page become its own worksheet?
Yes — each page maps to one sheet in the output workbook, named to match its position in the source file.
