Frequently asked questions

Does merging PDFs affect the quality of the original files?

No. Pages are combined exactly as they are in the source files — no re-rendering, recompression, or quality loss. The merged file is essentially the original page content, just bound together.

Can I control the order of the merged file?

Yes — after uploading, drag the file cards to reorder them. Pages appear in the merged PDF in the same order the files are listed, top to bottom.

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

Up to 10 files per merge on the free plan, 25 MB each. Need to combine more at once? The Premium plan raises the per-batch limit.

Will bookmarks or form fields survive the merge?

Page content, images, and text all carry over intact. Interactive elements like fillable form fields and bookmarks from the original files are not preserved in the merged output.
